About Me

Hi, I am Cylee Gunn. 

I am a multidisciplinary artist working across acrylic, oil, colored pencil, and digital media. I studied at Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD), where I developed a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary practices. My work centers on youth, imagination, and the quiet power of visual storytelling.

Through realistic still-life painting paired with explorative and often surreal backgrounds, I aim to blur the line between observation and invention. I’m especially drawn to building imaginary worlds that evoke curiosity, nostalgia, and a sense of wonder. My goal is to contribute to the revival of illustration as a meaningful cultural force—one that inspires, connects, and reawakens creativity across generations.
